Kane's 26-game point streak, which ran from Oct. 17 to Dec. 13, set a new franchise record — previously set by Bobby Hull at 21 games — and also broke the record for longest point streak by an American-born player, surpassing Eddie Olczyk and Phil Kessel (18 games). It's also the longest point streak in the NHL since 1992-93 when Mats Sundin of the Quebec Nordiques registered a point streak of 30 games.

The Blackhawks and Senators clash at 6 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet, which will air the pregame ceremony prior to puck drop.
