You're never too old to play hockey.
In the latest What's Your Goal campaign video, Joel Quenneville surprises senior citizens at the Centennial Activity Center in Park Ridge, home to some of the most active seniors in Chicago, many of whom are Blackhawks fans.
The place erupted when Quenneville is introduced, but little do they know the fun is just beginning.
In a different room, the Blackhawks have set up a mini United Center for the seniors to play a pick-up 3-on-3 hockey game against each other, and the scene resembles what it looks like during a regular Blackhawks home game.
Jim Cornelison sings the National Anthem before puck drop with Frank Pellico on the organ. CSN's Pat Foley calls the play-by-play from a mini booth. Blackhawks assistant coaches Kevin Dineen and Mike Kitchen serve as the two head coaches while Joel Quenneville officiates.
Even Tommy Hawk and the Blackhawks Ice Crew make an appearance to add some more fun to the atmosphere.
As for the game itself, the seniors did their best Blackhawks impression by channeling some late-game heroics with a game-tying goal on a penalty shot in the final minute.
Check out the awesome video below.
Jenny’s goal was to bring senior citizens to a home game.
Coach Q brought the game to them instead. #WhatsYourGoalhttps://t.co/lSmsejwZXD
