The Blackhawks will go without one of their top players tonight as Marian Hossa is out with an upper-body injury against the San Jose Sharks.

Hossa played the entire game on Saturday when the Blackhawks beat the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 in a shootout. Coach Joel Quenneville said earlier this afternoon there would be a lineup change for tonight; Brandon Mashinter will play against his former team.
Andrew Shaw moved into Hossa’s spot on the Blackhawks’ top line. Mashinter took Shaw’s spot on the third line. The Blackhawks’ second and fourth lines remained the same.
