It's official.  The Blackhawks championship celebration is set for Thursday.

A parade will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a rally at Soldier Field, Mayor Emanuel announced Tuesday.

"The City of Chicago is so proud of the Blackhawks, which is why we are going to throw them a celebration that only Chicago can throw — a celebration worthy of a dynasty," the mayor said in the announcement.

The parade will start at Washington and Racine, and send the Blackhawks east on Washington to Desplaines. The parade will continue south on Desplaines to Monroe and conclude by going east to Michigan Avenue.

Though free, tickets will be required for the Soldier Field rally. Soldier Field will also have screens outside of the stadium in the south parking lot.

Comcast SportsNet will have complete coverage of the parade and rally beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday.

The 2013 Stanley Cup celebration was held at Grant Park after parading through the streets of Chicago, and it was epic:
