Crawford set to make second straight start

LOS ANGELES -- Corey Crawford's strong outing against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday has earned him another start.

Crawford will be the Blackhawks' starting goaltender tonight when they take on the Los Angeles Kings, the team's last opponent on their long, six-game road trip. For Crawford, it's another opportunity after stopping 26 of 27 in a 4-1 victory over the Ducks. It's the second time in his career he's started on back-to-back days.

"I'll take as any starts as I can get," said Crawford, who's facing the Kings for the first time in his career. "I felt petty good last game and I'm lucky to get another one."

Crawford has won his last three starts entering tonight's game. Coach Joel Quenneville said Crawford's earned another chance.

"We talked about it after yesterday's game; he deserved a chance to get right back in there and that's good for him," he said. "It shows we think he can be a top goalie in our league and hopefully he can take advantage of it."

Fernando Pisani is out of tonight's game with an upper body injury, Quenneville said. ... John Scott will play tonight vs. the Kings after being a healthy scratch the past seven games.
