Crawford to start vs. Sharks, Montador out

SAN JOSE -- Corey Crawford will get the start but Steve Montador (upper body) is doubtful when the Chicago Blackhawks play the San Jose Sharks on Friday night.

It's Crawford's turn again after Ray Emery had the past two starts. Crawford had a strong game in here last time, a 1-0 loss to the Sharks in November. But whoever's in net, the Blackhawks desperately need a victory to halt their 0-5-1 skid.

Coach Joel Quenneville said Montador is day to day with the injury he suffered against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. Meanwhile, defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson, who was out sick Wednesday and today, is feeling better and is likely to play Friday.
