Crawford to start Wednesday, Carcillo practices

The Blackhawks were without a few bodies at Tuesday's practice, and they'll find out tomorrow morning which, if any, will play against the Los Angeles Kings tomorrow night.

Patrick Kane was out with the flu, Marcus Kruger was out with an upper-body injury and defenseman Steve Montador had a maintenance day on Tuesday, as the Blackhawks prepared for the Kings' arrival. Kruger suffered a concussion last Tuesday in Pittsburgh but returned last night against Columbus. But the forward took some hard hits from the Blue Jackets, especially in the first period.

Coach Joel Quenneville said they'll decide tomorrow morning if the three can play.

Corey Crawford, meanwhile, will get his third consecutive start tomorrow night. Crawford is coming off two consecutive victories in which he gave up a goal in each. He has stopped 57 of 59 shots in the past two games.

Daniel Carcillo practiced for the second consecutive day after being sidelined about 10 days with a head injury. He said he's feeling better, and Quenneville said he could play tomorrow.
