PHILADELPHIARay Emery will be in net against his former team and Daniel Carcillos seven-game suspension apparently begins tonight when the Chicago Blackhawks play the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Arena.

Carcillo was handed his latest suspension on Wednesday night and coach Joel Quenneville said he believes that begins with tonights game. Carcillo suffered what looked to be a left-leg injury when he hit Oilers defenseman Tom Gilbert on Monday night. Asked about Carcillos injuryhealth status, Quenneville said were still talking about the process.

Meanwhile, tonights game brings back a flood of memories for the Blackhawks who won the Stanley Cup here in June of 2010.

Just looking around the dressing room, last time I stepped in here there was a big shiny thing here, Bryan Bickell said referring to the Cup. I think that brings back memories. But most of all we need to bounce back from our last game. We need a good effort throughout the whole team. (The Flyers) are coming back off the Winter Classic loss, so theyll be fired up to play again.

Emery will get his first start since Dec. 20 in Pittsburgh. Emery played the 2009-10 season with the Flyers and suffered that hip injury that nearly cost him his career.

I loved playing here; theyve got intense fans and they treated me well, said Emery, who is 2-3-0 in his career vs. the Flyers. Its always exciting playing against a team youve played with before. Its that added incentive to still want to beat them. Its a special game.
