CSN's Pat Boyle and Insider Tracey Myers talk about what the Blackhawks should do as the trade deadline approaches in this week's edition of the Honda Road Ahead, presented by Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana Honda dealers.
The Stadium Series game is in the books, and the trade deadline is now a week away, which means Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman has a decision to make before Feb. 29.

The Blackhawks will clearly be buyers, but what will they get?
Andrew Shaw has done a nice job filling in on the top line in that left wing role with Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa, but it's no secret that they'd prefer to move Shaw back to the third line, which is where he's most effective. Acquiring a more natural top-line left winger would stabilize all four lines.
The Blackhawks may want to look for a top-four defenseman too, but is that a priority? It appears it'd be more of a bonus than anything.
"I won't be surprised if the Blackhawks do a little something," Myers said. "If there is a need for them, if there is a void, it's certainly been that left wing spot (on the top line). That's the thing that they lost the most of last year. I know a lot of people would love to see Andrew Ladd back in a (Blackhawks) uniform, depends on if Winnipeg wants to give him up, and also what Winnipeg wants."
