Kris Versteeg is on the move again.

The former Blackhawks forward, who was part of the 2010 and 2015 Stanley Cup-winning teams, was dealt to Los Angeles late Sunday night, bolstering an already-deep Kings forward group. Carolina received prospect Valentin Zykov and a conditional fifth-round pick in return.

Versteeg, 29, registered 11 goals and 22 assists in 62 games with the Hurricanes, where his 33 points ranked top-five among the team.

It's the sixth time he's been traded, with previous stints in Toronto, Philadelphia, Florida, Carolina and, of course, Chicago twice. He was traded by the Blackhawks last offseason along with Joakim Noadstrom due to salary cap restraints.
