Bulls: Michael Jordan statue to be relocated during construction

His Airness is soaring through the air yet again.

Kind of.

With the Bulls getting ready to begin construction a new office building adjacent to the United Center, the famous Michael Jordan statue in front of Gate 4 has been temporarily relocated 150 feet south of its permanent location. Only the body of the statue has been moved, with the base listing off Jordan's countless accolades remaining in tact.

The Bulls said in a press release that fans will still be able to visit the statue in its temporary location.

The Bulls begin their first round playoff series Saturday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.
