Even in his absence on the court, Derrick Rose continues to raise the bar even higher.
The D Rose 3.5 was inspired by Derricks dedication and work ethic to steadily improving his game. The sixth signature shoe features Adidas most cutting-edge performance technology, premium and rich style elements with touches of even more personal elements than past editions. The spiraling protruding from the D Rose logo is a representation of how his success on and off-court is ever growing from the continued support of his family, who essentially inspired the logo. The Rooted in Chicago graphic located on the inside tongue, symbolizes the essence of Rose which is brought to life showcasing his tattoos and the Chicago flag. To emphasize Derricks unique style of play, being that of extreme changes in direction, acceleration and explosiveness, Adidas designers have engineered the D Rose 3.5 with SPRINTWEB which was designed specifically for this type of play.
To ensure maximum comfort and support while performing hard cuts, an ergonomic ankle collar and a breathable mesh tongue were added to the arsenal. To further hone Derricks skills, SPRINTFRAME technology, which features an external heel counter to reduce weight and allow for energy return and motion control, was the final addition.
The D Rose 3.5 will be available in home and away colorways on January 31 at adidas.com for 160. The shoe will also launch in six additional colorways through April.
