Looks like Doug McDermott is having a pretty good summer. He's been in the gym a lot, already has an Ames High School bond with new coach Fred Hoiberg, and he's getting an early jump on off-season training.
Literally.
On Tuesday, McDermott was freestyling the State St. sidewalk with his buddy, Taylor Braun, who posted the video to his Instagram. Also check the comments section when you can, you'll find an "smh" sandwiched between laughing emojis from Mr. Nazr Mohammed.
Braun is an American basketball player who plays for Okapi Aalstar of Belgium's Ethias League and in fact, both were in the same draft class in 2014 but went separate ways.

Safe to say these two are having way too much fun. Check out Braun's smooth Euro-step, too. As McDermott notes: the guy had no chance. Poor guy almost euro-steps him back out of self-defense.
