Derrick Rose has suffered another knee injury.

The Knicks point guard will miss the final seven games of the season after suffering a torn meniscus in his left knee, the team announced Sunday.

Rose had missed the previous two games with knee soreness. According to Yahoo Sports' report, Rose's recovery time will be six-to-eight weeks following surgery. He's set to become a free agent this July.

The youngest MVP in league history has had a career defined by crippling knee injuries. He suffered a torn left ACL in 2012, and tore the meniscus in his right knee in 2013 and again in 2015.

This past offseason the Bulls decided to move on from Rose, trading him, Justin Holiday and a second-round pick to the Knicks in exchange for Robin Lopez and Jerian Grant.

Statistically Rose had a solid year in New York, averaging 18.0 points and 4.4 assists in 64 games. He shot 47.1 percent from the field, his highest mark since 2010.

But the Knicks struggled mightily, entering Sunday's game against the Celtics with a 29-47 record.
