Mirotic originally was expected to return after the All-Star break from the appendectomy. But following his latest procedure, the Bulls now say "a date for his return will be re-assessed as he continues to recover."

Mirotic has missed the Bulls' last three games. He appeared to be breaking out of his slump, averaging 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in the two games prior to his diagnosis of acute appendicitis on Jan. 27.

In his second season, Mirotic is averaging 10.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 24.0 minutes per game.
