Who will make it to the 2012 Summer Games?

Twelve United States basketball players will head to London for the 2012 Summer Games and the list of prospects has been reduced to 19.

According to SheridanHoops.com, the preliminary roster has been released and just one of Chicago's finest made the cut. Any guesses?

Of course Derrick Rose's name was on the list. Other guards include Chauncey Billups, Kobe Bryant, Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook and Deron Williams.

Forwards include LaMarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Andre Iguodala, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Lamar Odom. Centers Tyson Chandler and Dwight Howard also made it.

The roster needs to be submitted to the Olympics by June 20 and the Team USA camp is scheduled to open July 5 in Las Vegas.

Chances are Rose will return but who else will make the cut? Who would you pick as your final 12-man roster? Is there anyone not on the list that should be?

Lauri Markkanen has career-high 26 points in loss to Suns

Lauri Markkanen continues to impress.

The 20-year-old rookie had a career-high 26 points in the Bulls' 113-105 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. He also picked up 13 rebounds.

After the game, in which the Bulls fell to 3-11 on the season, coach Fred Hoiberg had high praise for the Finnish.

"I thought Lauri was phenomenal," Hoiberg said. "But when he is open, we gotta get him the ball. When he's got it rolling like he did tonight, guys were switching and we had him a couple of times with the point guard buried in his back and we didn't get him the ball."
