Why teenage girls like Bulls' Christmas Day jerseys

Share

We know what basketball bloggers think about new NBA jerseys, because their opinions are all over Twitter and the interwebs.

We know what players (like LeBron) think of new NBA jerseys when they come out.

We will know what the rest of the basketball world thinks of groundbreaking jerseys on Christmas Day, when the NBA typically unveils new getups for each team.

But we're missing one major market in there: Teenage girls.

The Washington Post's Clinton Yates had the idea to ask his teenage sister (age 15) and (age 13) about the Christmas Day uniforms.

And guess what (well, you don't have to actually guess, since you know from the headline): They like the Bulls' Christmas Day jerseys:

The Bulls' unis weren't the best - the Knicks' and Lakers' jerseys received an "A" from each girl and the Cavs' earned an "A-" and a "B+" though LeBron's name on the back of the jersey impacted at least one girl's grade:

I mean, all the uniforms are styled the same and these are just two girls' opinions.

But their opinions differ - they graded the Heat's a "B+" and a "D" and the Clippers got an "F-" and an "A".

That's worthy of a B+? As if. (Do teenage girls even say "as if" anymore? Did they ever?)

I mean, the whole article is just for fun, and Yates' relatives do not disappoint.
