This summer, Lollapalooza is expanding to four days as the iconic festival celebrates its 25th anniversary!

To help celebrate, we will be taking a look at each year of the festival and what was going on in the world of Chicago sports at that time.

Notable Chicago sports moment: Cubs sign hire Joe Maddon as new manager and ink Jon Lester to a six-year deal.

Bulls: 2nd in Central, lost First Round to Wizards 1-4
Cubs: 5th in NL Central
White Sox: 4th in AL Central
Blackhawks: 3rd in Central, lost to Kings in Conference Finals 3-4
Bears: 4th in NFC East
Fire: 9th in East
