The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation hosted its third annual Cook-Off for Cancer event at Revel Downtown Thursday night, bringing the Chicago Cubs community closer together and raising more than $270,000 by night's end.

Those in attendance had the opportunity to taste upscale versions of ballpark food prepared by notable Chicago chefs and served by Cubs players. Guests voted for their favorite chefs and dishes by tipping their Cubs server, the winner was Piccolo Sogno.

Tips and event net proceeds from the evening benefited pediatric cancer research, while providing support to children and their families battling the disease, a cause close to Rizzo and his family.

"It's a lot of fun. We're raising a lot of money for pediatric cancer and it's going toward a great cause," said the Cubs first baseman. "We play baseball, but we're about something bigger than that as well. We all love doing charitable things and this group of guys on this team is awesome."
