Cubs Road Ahead: Clinging to first place, but questions remain

The Cubs hit the road and will travel on an airplane for the first time in a while, and they'll do so in first place in the NL Central.

But the Milwaukee Brewers are right behind, and with stops in San Francisco and Arizona on deck, the Cubs will need to keep their foot on the gas to maintain their positioning.

Having Willson Contreras stay hot is a good recipe to do just that, and our Cubs Postgame Live crew discussed it in this week's Cubs Road Ahead, presented by Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Honda dealers in the video above.

"He's not missing pitches. The thing with him is, as a hitter sometimes if you're going good, you'll foul a few off," said David DeJesus. "But when things are over the middle of the plate with Willson Contreras right now, he is putting a good swing on it, squaring up and hitting it out of the yard. He is starting to perfect his bat flip and he's really getting good at that rounding the bases."
