Bastian Schweinsteiger has already been to a Blackhawks game and a Bulls game. His Chicago sports tour continued with a trip to Wrigley Field on Tuesday.

Schweinsteiger threw out the first pitch and later was joined by teammates Dax McCarty and Drew Conner to sing the seventh-inning stretch. In preparation of the appearance, Schweinsteiger and McCarty practiced after finishing up training in Bridgeview in the afternoon.

Schweinsteiger and his wife, retired tennis pro Ana Ivanovic, had Cubs jerseys made for them and got to check out a World Series ring.

The Fire teammates, including Brazilian midfielder Juninho, got the first pitch treatment and Schweinsteiger didn't bounce it or hit the backstop.
