Catch White Sox Opening Day on CSN tonight with coverage beginning at 8:30 p.m. with White Sox Pregame Live followed by Chris Sale taking on the A's.

The White Sox will open the 2016 season with some new faces around the diamond, but the entire team will be coming in with an edge.

Manager Robin Ventura said the White Sox have a "salty" attitude heading into the year, and White Sox ace Chris Sale believes his team will be a gritty bunch on the field this season.

"We got some grit. We got some guys that aren't afraid to show emotion and play hard and grind. That's half the battle," said Sale. "When you have tough guys, they prevail. Sometimes you don't need to be the most athletic or the most talented, but if you want it more than the other guy, I'll take that guy."
