FanDuel Friday: Can King Felix regain his crown against White Sox?

Share

Aces are running wild tonight in baseball.

You could make a case for each top starter to be in your lineup tonight since most hurlers this evening are strikeout kings.

But one of our Fantasy Baseball analysts is diving into the bargain bin for pitchers so he can boost his lineup.

See who CSN Fantasy has this week in their FanDuel lineups.

As always, good luck:

The King hasn't been his old self as of late and is coming off arguably his worst start of his career.

That's a perfect time for Hernandez to regain his form at home against a White Sox lineup that is coming off a rough series against the Angels. His strikeout number should be high though he might have a difficult time getting a win against the South Siders, who are sending Chris Sale out to counter Hernandez.

Posey seems oddly cheap for a player of his caliber tonight so he's earned a spot in my lineup.

I'm saving money elsewhere at third base, shortstop and two outfield spots. Shaw might be one of the hottest hitters in baseball and while his position designation might be odd, I'm still keeping him in my lineup tonight. At $2,400, I'll take a chance on Iglesias hitting a couple singles to keep him out of the negative for the evening. Piscotty and Burns are two rookies who have exceeded expectations and have matchups that are favorable to them.

I'm going with my gut tonight on Utley, who will probably want to put on a show in front of his new teammates in his first start in Dodger blue.

There’s a lot of studs taking the hill tonight to get the weekend going, but I’m playing it cheap and hoping Chris Bassitt stays hot as a starter. Since he moved to the rotation in July, he’s logged a 2.44 ERA in 51.2 innings pitched and hasn’t allowed more than three runs in any start. While the wins are going to be hard to come by for him playing in Oakland, I like him to log another quality start and have your team in position to earn some cash.

After watching Nick Castellanos mash in Wrigley I’ve got to have him in my lineup this evening, while Jason Kipnis is coming off a three-hit night in New York, fresh off a DL stint. Asdrubal Cabrera has done nothing but tear it up since his DL return, too, while I like Prince Fielder in his old stomping grounds to have himself a night. He’s still woefully cheap for his position at $3,400.
