White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has been suspended and fined after being ejected from Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees and then taking to his Twitter account to comment on the incident while the game was still in play.

According to Joe Garagiola Jr., Senior Vice President of Standards and On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, Guillen's actions were in violation of Major League Baseball's social media policy and other regulations regarding the use of electronic equipment during the course of the game.

Guillen will serve his two game suspension when the White Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles Friday and Saturday. The amount of the fine remains undisclosed.
