Pitcher Junior Guerra has been claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers, while catcher Adrian Nieto was outrighted to Double-A Birmingham.

Guerra, 30, made his major league debut and appeared in three games for the White Sox this season but mostly pitched in the minors. He went 4-7 with a 3.13 ERA in 31 games between Double-A and Triple-A.

A Rule 5 pick who spent the entire 2014 season in the majors, Nieto didn’t make the club out of spring training and spent all of 2015 at Double-A Birmingham. Nieto hit .207/.344/.316 with five homers and 27 RBIs in 315 plate appearances.
