Robin Ventura wants his entire staff to return for the 2016 season.

Whether or not it happens remains to be seen.

All but one member of the White Sox manager’s original staff has been with him for four seasons and Ventura said Tuesday he would like for the current group to return next season. The White Sox fired hitting coach Jeff Manto at the end of the 2013 season and replaced him with Todd Steverson.

“You always want to find that stuff out,” Ventura said. “I’m hopeful it’s the same group.”

“You have discussions. You have somewhat of a say, but you don’t have full say. There are people above you, but you do have discussions.”

Ventura is under contract for one more year and said he wants to return in 2016. White Sox general manager Rick Hahn has said he would defer all questions about 2016 until the end of the season.
