Tuesday night’s game between the White Sox and the Orioles in Baltimore has been postponed due to ongoing safety concerns in Baltimore.

This is the second night in a row that the game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards has been cancelled due to safety concerns in Baltimore. On Saturday, protests over the death of Freddie Gray turned violent right outside the ballpark while the Orioles were in the midst of playing the Red Sox. Monday featured violent riots throughout the city starting in the afternoon and continuing into the night, prompting the postponement of the series-opener between the Orioles and White Sox.

The Orioles also announced Tuesday afternoon that Wednesday's game with the White Sox would be played at 2 p.m. ET (moved up from the original 7 p.m. ET start time) and that it will be closed to the public.

It was announced that the postponed games from Monday and Tuesday will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Thursday, May 28, starting at 4:05 p.m. ET.
