Everybody is impressed by The Sodfather's work at U.S. Cellular Field.

Three stars of the gold medal-winning U.S. Women's National Team threw out the first pitch on the South Side Tuesday night and they had some kind words for Roger Bossard's care of the "pitch."

All three USWNT players - defender Julie Johnston, forward Christen Press and midfielder Lori Chalupny - play for the Chicago Red Stars.

"As an athlete who plays on grass fields, the pitch is unbelievable," Johnston said. "The grass is so perfect. So of course that's the first thing we talk about when we walk out and see the field."

Good work, Mr. Bossard.
