White Sox GM Kenny Williams was at Sunday's NFC title game between the 49ers and Giants, a game that turned into a nightmare for his son Kyle.
The younger Williams, the 49ers punt returner, had a pair of costly turnovers including a fumble in overtime that led the Giants' game-winning field goal. So, what words of advice did the elder Williams give after the game?
"He was the first person I saw," Williams told "The Dan Patrick Show" on Tuesday. "The first thing he said to me was 'Are you tough enough and are you man enough to bounce back from this?' He had no doubt when I said that I was.
"It definitely sucks, there's nothing good from it," Williams said. "But, you have to learn from it and move on."
Williams went on to say that he has received death threats on Twitter since the game.
It was pretty bad, Williams said. When it comes to social media, theres a line and some people crossed it.
