White Sox to hold special event remembering 2005 World Series run

If you're feeling nostalgic since it's the 10-year anniversary of the White Sox World Series run, you're in luck this summer.

A new White Sox Charities event, "A Season to Remember: A night with the 2005 World Series Champions," will take place this summer in honor of the historic White Sox team that captured Chicago's hearts in 2005. The showcase, which will take on July 19th at the Chicago Theatre, will recognize the contributions on and off the field that the team made.

Scott Podsednik, Cliff Politte, Paul Konerko, Jon Garland and Jermaine Dye will be among some of the familiar faces from that championship squad that are schedule to make an appearance at the event at the moment. 

Fans can get tickets to the memorable event here. Options for fans include a VIP pass, which gives fans a special experience for the event, involving a special meet and greet with players and coaches from the 2005 team, photo opportunity with the World Series trophy and seats at the private mezzanine-level booth.
