The White Sox havent yet determined who will pitch Fridays second-half opener in Kansas City.

Manager Robin Ventura is leaning toward Jake Peavy and Chris Sale on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. But outside of Sale on Sunday, Ventura hasnt yet solidified any plans for the White Sox rotation.

Sale, who last pitched on Tuesday, is expected to pitch an inning in the All-Star Game on Tuesday. Gavin Floyd could potentially pitch Friday, Ventura said.

The White Sox open the second half with three games at Kansas City before going to Boston for four games and concluding their 10-game road trip at Detroit.

Possibly, Ventura said about Floyd, who threw 7 23 scoreless innings on Saturday. I know Sale will probably be in there the last day in Kansas City. Peavy will probably be the second day. I dont know about the first day.
