White Sox Minor League Report: Time to take notice of Seby Zavala

As part of a weekly series, presented by Ozinga, CSNChicago.com will highlight the top performances of several prospects in a weekly minor league report.

White Sox Blueprint Player of the Week: Seby Zavala (C), Winston-Salem Dash

While Zack Collins gets all the attention in the White Sox farm system, catcher Seby Zavala has quietly flown under the radar this season.

A 12th round pick in the 2015 MLB Draft out of San Diego State, Zavala just recently earned a promotion from Kannapolis to Winston-Salem.

Zavala has been on a tear at the plate in his last 10 games as he's collected nine hits while blasting four home runs and an eye-opening 15 RBI.

Charlotte Knights

After struggling in the early part of June, Nicky Delmonico has found his stroke with the Knights.

Delmonico has 12 hits in his last 10 games and has mashed two homers and six RBI during that time.

Starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez had his best outing of the season on Thursday night when he picked up the win against Columbus after allowing one earned run in 6.2 innings while collecting a season-high 11 strikeouts.

Birmingham Barons

Recently named Southern League Pitcher of the Week, White Sox prospect Jordan Guerrero has been lights out in the month of June for the Barons.

In his last three outings, the left-hander has allowed just two earned runs on 11 hits with 16 strikeouts in 22.2 innings.

Kannapolis Intimidators

It's hard to not get excited about the future of Micker Adolfo.

The 20-year-old outfielder continues to rake in Single-A as he's reached base in 8 out of his last 10 games and has pushed his batting average up to .284 on the season. Adolfo cranked out three home runs and eight RBI in his last 10 contests.

Great Falls Voyagers

The White Sox may have a keeper in 2017 12th round selection Justin Yurchak.

Once a highly-recruited preps star out of New York, Yurchak transferred to Binghamton University after just one year at Wake Forest in which he garnered ACC All-Freshman Team honors.

It's been a smooth transition into the White Sox organization for Yurchak as the third baseman has reached base in every game with the Voyagers and has belted two home runs to go along with seven RBI.

AZL White Sox

After signing with the White Sox as an undrafted free agent last November, the former Bellarmine University standout has started his professional career on a high note.

In his first week in the Arizona League, Austin Crutcher is slashing .286/.385/.476 with a home run and five RBI. The 24-year-old outfielder has two stolen bases in his first six games.

DSL White Sox

We should just change the name of this section to "your weekly Luis Robert update".

The 19-year-old Cuban outfielder has a .277 batting average while boasting a ridiculous .500 OBP. Robert added three stolen bases this week to push his total to seven this season.
