White Sox morning roundup

From yesterday:

Chuck Garfien previewed Inside Look featuring Jerry Reinsdorf, which will debut on Comcast SportsNet tonight at 7 p.m. There's a lot of good stuff from the Chairman in there, so be sure to tune in or set your DVRs.

The White Sox lost again and are now 2-8 on the spring. One scout seems to thing that's a harbinger of doom, but 10 spring training games hardly is anything to worry about just yet.

Gavin Floyd had a good day, though, striking out five Padres in four innings of work. After the game, he expressed his desire to stay in Chicago, a wish he'll probably be granted at least for the next few months.

James has a solid writeup on the Floyd trade rumors, and I'm not just saying that because he used a question I asked White Sox director of baseball operations Dan Fabian in his lede.

And in less serious content, how about the Alejandro De Pizza as a counter to Washington's StrasBurger?

Around the division: Newly-extended Royals catcher Salvador Perez suffered a knee injury, Detroit may be trying to deal for a starter after Jacob Turner was shut down with a tired arm, Twins Daily's Parker Hageman analyzes Alexi Casilla and Cleveland had some success against Yu Darvish.

White Sox Talk Podcast on The Three Amigos: Jimenez, Robert and Adolfo

The White Sox three outfield prospects are creating a lot of buzz at spring training.

On this edition of the podcast, Micker Adolfo tells Chuck Garfien about a conversation they all had about one day becoming the starting outfield for the White Sox. Adolfo talks about his longtime friendship with Eloy Jimenez, his impressions of Luis Robert, Luis Basabe and the White Sox future.

But first, it's a conversation with MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez who has great insight on many of the White Sox players: Jimenez, Robert, Yoan Moncada and Jose Abreu. He tells an amazing story about why Jimenez decided to sign with the Cubs when he was a teenager, how much Abreu is revered in Cuba and much more.
