White Sox prospect Chris Beck has been placed on the disabled list at Triple-A Charlotte with right elbow inflammation.

Beck -- who pitched six innings for the White Sox in Baltimore on May 28 -- left Saturday’s start after only four innings and 72 pitches, his second consecutive abbreviated outing. The No. 11 prospect in the organization according to MLB.com, Beck lasted four innings and 58 pitches in a June 3 start.
Beck is 3-3 with a 3.43 ERA in 11 starts at Charlotte this season.
