White Sox recall Willy Garcia from Triple-A Charlotte

The White Sox announced on Tuesday they have recalled outfielder Willy Garcia from Triple-A Charlotte.

Garcia takes the roster spot of outfielder Jacob May, who was optioned to Charlotte following Monday's loss to the Kansas City Royals.

Garcia, 24, has a slash line of .294/.395/.529 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 18 games with the Knights this season.

Garcia was up with the White Sox from April 14-16 while outfielder Melky Cabrera was on the Paternity List. He had two hits in two games.

The White Sox will look to get back in the win column when they continue their series with the Royals on Tuesday night.
