Right when everyone is just about ready to call it a season, the South Siders go on a hot streak and play some inspiring baseball.
This weekend was a perfect example of that as the Sox busted out the brooms against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium, putting them just six games behind the Texas Rangers for the second wild card spot.

Overcoming a six game deficit (not to mention jumping five other teams) is a tall task, but not an impossible one.
Luckily, the Sox face two teams this week, the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins, that they would have to jump if they were to make a miraculous playoff run.
