White Sox set second-half rotation

The White Sox second-half rotation is out: Jose Quintana will start Friday, with Jake Peavy going Saturday and Chris Sale Sunday.

While no probables have been announced past Sunday, it would seem likely Gavin Floyd would get the nod Monday in Boston, allowing him to face Detroit the following Saturday at Comerica Park. Floyd historically has succeeded against Detroit, posting a 3.42 ERA with 90 strikeouts and 36 walks in 115 23 innings. He's also done pretty well against the Red Sox, with a 3.21 ERA in 56 innings, as compared to a 4.21 mark in 94 innings against Kansas City.

All-Star Game not included, Sale will be pitching on 12 days rest, while Peavy will pitch eight days after their respective previous starts.
