SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Corey Crawford will go for his eighth consecutive victory in goal and Jordan Hendry will be in the lineup as a forward when the Chicago Blackhawks take on the San Jose Sharks tonight.

Sharks goaltender Antti Niemi will get another start against his former team; he won the last matchup here on Nov. 24.

Hendry will be playing in his first game since Nov. 7. Coach Joel Quenneville said he likes getting the defensemen -- John Scott has been at forward for a while now -- up front.

"The one thing about defensemen up front is theyre responsible, Quenneville said. They have a defensive mindset, which is what we want.

Jack Skille will be on the right wing with Viktor Stalberg and Jonathan Toews. Jeremy Morin flew into San Jose late Friday night to play tonight.

Injury update
Marian Hossa, Patrick Kane (both lower body) and Fernando Pisani (upper body) still arent skating back in Chicago, but Quenneville said he expects them in the next day or so to get out there, and well have more updates on that then.

Quenneville would not say who may or may not be skating soon.
