Chicago, IL (September 1, 2011)Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago White Sox and their stretch-drive quest for an AL Central Division title, has announced an on-aironline association with three-time All-Star and Cy Young Award winning pitcher, JAKE PEAVY from the Chicago White Sox, one of the most entertaining personalities in all of Major League Baseball.
Effective immediately, the network will work exclusively with Peavy to produce weekly webisodes (to be showcased on the networks 247 website CSNChicago.com and over the air on Comcast SportsNet) entitled Jakes Take, which will be a video diary featuring Peavy interviewing White Sox teammatescoachesstaff, along with many other players from opposing teams. In addition, Peavy will provide candid discussion on the current MLB season as it progresses, along insightful and entertaining commentary on life in the big leagues focusing on his personal work and his community-related activities off the field.
I enjoy working with the folks at Comcast SportsNet and being able to offer our fans a glimpse into the inner workings of baseball from how we prepare for a game, the personalities on this team, how determined we are to bring another championship to the southside of Chicagoand, of course, - well talk some country music, said Peavy.
