Despite their last-place record, most fans would still give just about anything to live a day in the life of a Chicago Cub, and next week many fans will have their chance.

The team hosts its third annual Cubs Fantasy Camp June 17 and 18. Participants will watch Sunday night's game between the Cubs and the Red Sox from the Budweiser Bleacher Suite, where they will meet former All-Star Lee Smith and other Cubs alumni.

But the next day is when the real fun begins, with campers coming back to Wrigley Field to sign a one-day contract with Cubs executives.

They'll spend Monday participating in a series of running, fielding and hitting drills led by Cubs legends. After warming up, campers will head to the Cubs clubhouse where they will suit up in their very own customized Chicago Cubs uniform.

The two-day event culminates with a tournament on the diamond, including a championship game played under the Wrigley Field lights.

There are still a few roster spots available for Cubs Fantasy Camp. A single spot can be purchased for 4,500. Fans can register or find more information at www.cubs.comfantasycamp.
