Another day, another postponement: Cubs-Cardinals bumped back a day

We promise this isn't a repost: The Cubs game has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Wednesday's game between the Cubs and Cardinals, scheduled to begin at 1:20, will be bumped back a day on account of the near-freezing temperatures expected in Chicago today.

It's the fifth time the Cubs have been postponed this season (once in Cincinnati, the home opener against Pittsburgh, Sunday against Atlanta, Monday against St. Louis and today). Weather has been an issue all around Major League Baseball in the early going of the regular season, and the Cubs offered up a few suggestions on how to fix it but realize there is no easy solution.

So the Cubs will have to wait another day to bounce back from their 5-3 loss against their rival on Tuesday night.
