Hudson back in lineup against Brewers

Orlando Hudson is back in the White Sox lineup on Friday. The veteran infielder, who hadnt played third base since he was in the minors in 2001 before he signed with the White Sox last month, sat out Wednesdays series finale with the Cubs because manager Robin Ventura wanted to give him a chance to relax.Ventura understands how much Hudson is taking after spending his entire major league career at second base. Hudson is a four-time Gold Glove award winner and two-time All-Star at second base. He previously played third base in the minors, but hasnt been at the hot corner since he was at Double-A with Toronto. There are times when hes at third that the game gets going fast because hes not used to playing that position, Ventura said. Its not easy the first time you are playing that position to be put over there at the major league level. Keeping him confident when he goes in there, he feels good about playing that position and putting him back in there. You do believe in him playing that position and figuring it out.Hudson is hitting .167 with 10 RBIs in 25 games for the White Sox this season.
