Duncan Keith had a big day for Team Canada in the 2012 IIHF World Championship, but it wasn't big enough to wrestle a win away from Team USA.

Keith scored with 1:39 remaining in the third period to tie the game at 4, but Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Jack Johnson scored the winner 16:47 into overtime to give the Americans a 5-4 victory.

Keith also recorded an assist on John Tavares' first-period goal. Patrick Sharp was held scoreless for the second straight game. He was a plus-1 and had two shots on goal.

In other action, Team Sweden with Viktor Stalberg, Niklas Hjalmarsson and Marcus Kruger defeated Michael Frolik's Czech Republic squad 4-1. None of the four Blackhawks tallied a point in the match.
