McClellin enjoyed first OTAs, still learning Chicagoland

With his first OTAs in the books, Bears rookie Shea McClellin took time to share his early impressions of the NFL on Thursday's Chicago Tribune Live.

While acknowledging how great it's been to work with defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli and the rest of the defensive line, McClellin admits he has yet to look to far ahead.

"I just want to contribute and do the best that I can. I haven't set goals yet. I kind of do that after training camp."

McClellin is also adjusting to life off the field, saying that he enjoys the big-city feel of Chicago despite growing up in a small town in Idaho and attending Boise State. Granted, he's still learning things about his new city.

"I went to Navy Pier and been to a couple other places around. Everton is a pretty cool little city up there with Northwestern University... Evanston, sorry."
