Mobile finished off Tennessee Sunday night, 6-4, at Smokies Park to capture the Southern League title.
Trey McNutt started and took the loss allowing a pair of runs on two hits and four walks over 4 13 innings. The bullpen, specifically Marcus Hatley and Jeff Stevens, fared no better, combining to allow four runs on four hits and two walks in two innings.
Jae-Hoon Had had a homer and three RBIs for the Smokies. Jim Adduci added a pair of hits while Josh Vitters went 0-for-4 to finish the with a .103 batting average in the series.
