While the Illinois State basketball team makes waves with a 10-0 start in conference play, the ISU football team is getting some national attention thanks to one recruit:

Kobe Buffalomeat.
According to CBS, Buffalomeat played football at Lawrence High School his freshman year, but then took two years off before returning for his senior season last fall.
He did play basketball throughout his high school career, which makes sense given his 6-foot-7 frame.

Buffalomeat spoke to Chicago Tribune's Teddy Greenstein Wednesday afternoon and said Peele reached out to him on Twitter and the incoming ISU freshman also plans on hopping on Jimmy Kimmel's show this week.
