Starting Jul. 31, we’ll unveil the @CSNPrepsTop 25 Power Rankings, leading up to kickoff on Friday, Aug. 25.

School: Reavis

Head coach: Tim Zasada

How they fared in 2016: 7-3 (5-1 South Suburban Red Conference), made the Class 7A state playoff field and lost to Lincoln-Way Central in opening round action.

2017 Regular Season Schedule:

Aug. 25 – @ Hammond

Sept. 1 – Corliss

Sept. 8 – @ Argo

Sept. 16 - Shepard

Sept. 22 - @ Richards

Sept. 29 – Evergreen Park

Oct. 6 - @ Oak Lawn

Oct. 13 - @ TF South

Oct. 20- Eisenhower

Biggest storyline: Can the Rams reload and keep its winning momentum going in 2017?

Names to watch this season:  Senior RB/LB Matt Beach, Senior OL/DL Noah Wasielewski

Biggest holes to fill: The Rams bring back just four returning starters (two offense, two defense) from a season ago.

EDGY's Early Take: Reavis is attempting to make the state playoff field for the fourth consecutive year, a feat that hasn't happened at the Burbank school since the 1980-1983 seasons. With just a handful of starters back, head coach Tim Zasada will have to bring along an inexperienced team quickly. Look for the Rams to again challenge at the top of the South Suburban Red this fall.
