It's been a crazy ride for Erik Swenson the last month-plus.

The Downers Grove South offensive lineman had originally committed to Michigan, but the offer was pulled by the school in mid-Janaury, leaving Swenson to scramble to find a new offer.

On National Signing Day Wednesday, he signed his letter of intent with Oklahoma.

Our Edgy Tim caught up with Swenson after his announcement Wednesday:

"This whole month has been a little crazy," Swenson said. "But now that it's all over, it's just a sense of relief everywhere."

Swenson said he chose Oklahoma for football - obviously - and they also have a Top 10 entrepreneurship program, which he wants to major in.

The chaos is over now for Swenson and his family, which means it's time to kick back.

"Definitely relax," he said. "We're throwing a huge party after school. It's definitely a fun time."

Edgy Tim will be on SportsTalk Live on CSN at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
