Five new teams enter the NBC Sports Chicago Preps Basketball Power Rankings this week as we saw a lot of turnover among ranked teams. Unbeaten teams like Glenbrook South, Geneva and Downers North have impressed while Fenwick and Willowbrook both earned positive wins to cement themselves as teams to watch.
Some changes in the top ten also went down thanks to some early-season tests from the Chicago Elite Classic. Whitney Young and Bogan both proved themselves on the big stage while Simeon and Morgan Park suffered close losses to tough out-of-state opponents. Evanston also went 1-1 this week with an impressive win over Uplift following a loss to Glenbrook South.
