Report: New addition in works outside United Center

Share

According to Crain's Chicago Business, Blackhawks owner Rocky Wirtz and Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf are teaming up to build a 75-85 million development on a current parking lot located east of the United Center.

The plans call for a building 260,000 square feet in size. While the specifics for its use are unknown at this time, the facility could include restaurants, bars, team stores and even team offices. The new building will somehow connect to the United Center via either atrium or above-ground walkway.
